A place to say it out loud

Talk it out. Feel a little lighter.

A fight with your partner. Something your manager said. Family stuff. Or a thought you can’t stop replaying. Tell Halo what happened. It listens, keeps the thread, and asks one useful question.

When your head is full

You don’t have to know what to say first.

Start with what happened, what keeps coming back, or simply how today felt. Say it in your own words. There’s no blank page to fill and no need to turn it into a plan.

More ways to use Halo

Halo can help with practical things too.

Ask for a role when you want one. Halo can remember safe preferences you explicitly choose, so you can continue without starting from zero.

01

Language partner

Practise any supported language while Halo keeps explanations in the language you already speak.

“Practise Spanish with me and remember that.”

02

Conversation rehearsal

Say the thing out loud before you say it to your manager, partner, or friend.

“Help me rehearse this conversation.”
03

Interview partner

Rehearse answers, hear a focused follow-up, and try the difficult part again.

“Run a product interview with me.”
04

Accountability partner

Name what you plan to do. Halo can remember it and ask how it went next time.

“Keep me accountable for this week.”
05

Brainstorming partner

Think out loud. Halo keeps the thread and helps you find one idea worth taking further.

“Help me think through three directions.”
06

Study partner

Explain what you’re learning, test your understanding, and return to it in another session.

“Quiz me on what I just learned.”

Questions people ask

What can I talk to Halo about?

Start with anything that is weighing on you, a feeling you want to understand, a decision, or a thought you keep replaying. Halo listens first and asks one focused follow-up when it helps.

Can I journal by just talking instead of writing?

Yes. Halo is built for talking. You speak out loud and Halo turns it into a written entry for you — there's no blank page and no typing required.

Does Halo remember what I told it?

Yes. Halo can remember safe, explicit preferences such as the language you want to practise or the role you want it to take. Say “forget that” to remove a preference.

Can Halo help me practise another language?

Yes. You can speak to Halo in one supported language and practise another. For example, ask in Russian to practise Estonian, or ask in English to practise Brazilian Portuguese.

What roles can Halo remember?

Halo can be your language, interview, conversation-rehearsal, brainstorming, study or accountability partner. It stores only safe role and language codes, not the original request.

Is my journal private?

Your entries are private to your account, stored on EU servers, and you can export or delete everything at any time. Halo is a companion, not a data pipe.

Is Halo free?

Yes. Halo is free to download on iPhone and Android, and the free tier is genuinely useful: your first voice conversation, unlimited text chat, daily mood tracking, and a seven-day journal overview. An optional Premium subscription unlocks ongoing voice conversations, listening mode, full journal history, and deeper insights. Before you confirm, the payment screen shows whether a trial is available, how long it lasts, and the renewal price from the App Store or Google Play.

Can an AI journal replace a therapist?

No. Halo is a reflection and journaling companion, not therapy or medical care. If you're in crisis, please contact a local emergency line or a mental-health professional.
